Soft green grasses
Petals and pollen
Brush my glasses.

I smile, and gaze up

The sun is so lovely,

I hold my head up,
And shut my eyes.

The wind smells so sweet.

Can you close your eyes lovely?

And smell and see what I want to see?

I grow ever nearer my end.

But I love you.

And you may not love me.
